Segregated plastic flatware

Clumsy

I burnt some toast bad enough to set off the smoke alarm, so I opened a window and turned on the fan and the alarm stopped beeping. Later, I dropped half my grilled cheese. I still haven't worked out how to turn off the fan without turning out the light.

*sigh*

I'm not sure yet how many more shelves I'll really need. I have to shuffle stuff around a bit, stash a box or two back in the basement, maybe sell some books.

Plus I need someplace to put the music.

Protest time

Just as I got home, a bunch of people with signs marched by, escorted by motorcycle cops. Then sirens. Then the people with signs marched back the other way, escorted by motorcycle cops.

Par-tay!

Turns out, we'd have had to be accompanied by an Elk, and the one I know had other plans for the evening. :(

So! We went to Plan B, which involved meeting at my place for wine and cheese. Then we went to Plan C, the Indian restaurant on the corner that we hadn't tried yet. I believe that may become our default Indian restaurant. After, we went to the food court at the mall for cupcakes.

Present haul: S4 of Supernatural (the good season, with Mischa Collins), a pretty blue scarf, and considerable future haulage from Ikea. Thanks, guys!
