My boss's boss's boss was in the office today, making her first round of inspection since she assumed leadership. She was kind enough not to waste everyone's time with the 'speech to the troops' bullshit that her predecessor was so in love with. But still - I had come in this morning to an email asking for the project I started last week. I promised I'd get it done before I left today. Which would have been no problem, except everyone and their brother decided to post a two-page amendment last week. I was at the office pretty late.
In other news, I put in my change of address at the post office, faxed M the receipt for the washer/dryer, packed the lower kitchen cabinets, and denuded the chicken.
I still need to shift my long-distance service, deposit a check from the title company, and pack the rest of the kitchen, the bedroom, and the miscellania that's accumulating in the living room.
How do you pack seashells?
